I made a choice, a hasty decision
I made it without contemplation

I had options between red or blue
the former, I took; the other was you

I thought that choice would bring me glee
but now, I reckon, I want to flee

I'd rather sing my heart out
than wallow in self doubt

I would've chosen blue
I would've chosen you
